On Thursday, Juventus midfielder Gianluigi Buffon had a scan on his left knee after a knee injury.
According to Sportitalia, Buffon was ruled out for up to four weeks with a sprained ligament.
Juventus are in the midst of a difficult Champions League group phase, with two games left to play and four points separating second-placed Real Madrid from fifth-placed Napoli.
Buffon is the second Juventus player to suffer an injury during the last 24 hours.
On Wednesday, midfielder Paul Pogba suffered a knee ligament tear, which left him out for two weeks.
