McDonald’s has added nutrition information to the menu, saying consumers can “easily obtain the information” without having to enter their name.
The new menu includes the nutritional information for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
It also offers an easy-to-understand list of the ingredients used to make the food, including the brand name and ingredients.
“McDonald’s has long provided consumers with a wide range of nutritional information and is committed to making the menu even more accessible,” a company spokeswoman said in a statement.
McDonalds said it will continue to offer customers with a health care provider an easy to understand list of ingredients used in its restaurants.
“In the coming weeks, we will be releasing nutritional information about all of our restaurants, which will include ingredients that have been shown to increase a person’s risk of heart disease and other chronic conditions,” the statement said.
