A new poll finds that a majority of Americans want to keep the Affordable Care Act intact.
Just over half of respondents (54 percent) say they want to see a “repeal and replace” plan to replace the ACA.
But most Americans (55 percent) think the law needs a major overhaul in order to survive.
The poll by the University of Wisconsin-Madison was conducted March 13-19, 2018, with a random sample of 1,002 adults nationwide.
The margin of sampling error is +/- 3.4 percentage points.
